It’s a technology that allows developers to package an app and everything required to run it into an isolated ‘container’, allowing it to be easily transported between environments saving time, money, space and code.
This year I teamed up with the world’s leading container security providers to offer monitoring, compliance and run-time protection to Australian businesses wanting to leverage container technologies. I also head up the Melbourne Docker User Group and co-organise the Melbourne Kubernetes User Group.
I co-founded my first business at 23. A fully-featured CMS for the cinema industry, Kinesis Interactive Design became Australia's Premier Cinema Marketing Platform. But my main jam for the last 15 years has been network infrastructure and operations management.
At Telstra and Cisco I acquired my appetite for streamlining ops amid complex networks. In recent years managing cloud security business for Segura and Zimbani, I’ve supported businesses through the challenges of adopting cloud infrastructure and achieving secure migration.
